Dolphin Adventure Swim and Water Park
This dolphin program in Puerto Vallarta is designed to give you a safe and engaging opportunity to interact with one of the ocean's most intelligent animals. With a small group of up to 8 guests, you'll enjoy a fun, memorable experience guided by a professional trainer.
Your session begins with a short educational orientation, where your instructor will introduce you to dolphin behavior, anatomy, and habits. You'll then step onto a submerged platform for a series of close-up interactions with one dolphin. These may include a kiss, handshake, hand target, and the dolphin's signature smile.
After the platform portion, each family or party will enjoy free time in the water with the dolphin. During this part of the experience, the dolphin may swim by, splash, and sing. The total swim time is approximately 30 minutes.
In addition to your dolphin experience, this tour also includes a 15-minute sea lion interaction. This fun and relaxed session gives you the chance to observe and interact with one of the most playful marine mammals.
Once your marine life encounters are complete, enjoy a complimentary box lunch and spend the rest of the day at Aquaventuras Water Park. The park features water slides, a lazy river, a dolphin show, and a sea lion show.
Admission to the park is included with your dolphin program. Guests who wish to observe but not participate in the dolphin activity may do so by purchasing regular park admission.
Please Note: As of July 16, Mexico has amended its General Wildlife Law, which places new restrictions on certain types of dolphin interactions. Beginning September 16, dolphin programs at Aquaventuras will follow an updated format. The experience will start with an educational briefing on dolphin anatomy and habits, including their senses of smell and taste. On the platform, guests will enjoy activities such as Dolphin Embrace (touch/hug), Dolphin Sight (vision), and Heart to Heart (soul). In the water, groups will have free-swim time as the dolphin circles around and responds to different sounds. The program lasts approximately 50 minutes, with a maximum of 8 guests per platform and one dolphin. Admission to Aquaventuras Park is included, along with a Meet and Greet with sea lions (out of water) and lunch from the swimmer's menu.
The tour duration reflects the dolphin interaction only. Time spent at the water park is on your own and not included in the listed duration. Transfer time to and from the park is also not included. This tour requires one participating adult for each child participant. Bring along cash for locker rental, as well as for food and beverage purchase. Shower and restroom facilities are available. The park's hours of operation are 10 AM - 5 PM. Water attractions operate from 11 AM - 5 PM. The opening hours are subject to change without notice.
